Surfrider Foundation Newport Beach Chapter

The Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of our world’s oceans, waves and beaches. Redeemer offers opportunities to provide hope and encouragement to inmates in southern California by sharing the love of Christ through letters to inmates called “Heart Cards,” annual events such as Angel Tree at Christmas time, church-wide bible drives, and visits to inmates.

The Village of Hope / Orange County Rescue Mission

The Village of Hope is a 192-bed transitional housing program for homeless men, women and children. The following services are provided on the Village of Hope campus: Spiritual and Personal Development, Case Management and Counseling Services, Parenting and Child Enrichment Center, Medical and Dental Care, Sunwest Bank Success Center, Food Service and Dinning, Transportation Services, Recreation, and Hair Salon.

  • Family Opportunities: There are serving projects for whole family (Click HERE for details). Individual volunteers must be at least 13 years old and accompanied by an adult if under 18.
