Redeemer is bursting with kids and we love it. We passionately support parents in the discipleship and nurture of their children. At Redeemer parents find a strong community of other parents walking through (often limping through) the joys and struggles of raising kids. You are not alone in this wonderful and overwhelming responsibility.
Worship is for the Kids
Children learn how to be adults not just by being taught by adults, but by watching and building relationships with adults. At Redeemer we intentionally include our children in the life of our church. We want them to know that Redeemer belongs to them as much as it belongs to their parents. During our worship service, we include them in the main sanctuary and help them engage in worship.
Before the sermon, children from 2 years old to 5th grade are dismissed to classes taught by a team of experienced teachers and loving volunteers. After the sermon, the kids return to worship with their parents.
Our nursery is available for babies and toddlers (up to 36 months) during the whole worship service. If you prefer not to use the nursery, you may sit with your young children behind a glass partition in the sanctuary, or anywhere else in the building.
Redeemer offers a well developed Children’s Sunday School program for all ages on Sunday mornings during middle hour (10:10-10:50am) between services. Our loving and talented teachers use the Great Commissions Publications Show Me Jesus curriculum and the Westminster Shorter Catechism.
Our Sunday School classes for kids run at a parallel time to our adult and youth lectures and classes.
Children’s Ministry Safety Policies
To help ensure the safety of the children in our children’s ministry classes and programs, we have established the following policies:
- Child Protection Policy – policies to protect our children and youth.
- Sign-in & Sign-out Procedures – procedure for signing in/out children ages 0 through kinder.
