DEcember 2018 Update

Advent marks a new church calendar year as well as a new season in the life of Redeemer Presbyterian Church as we begin to search for our next senior pastor. As we start this process we are asking church members to help us with two important steps.

Congregational Survey

The Pastoral Search Committee needs to hear your voice to understand the current needs, values, and priorities of our church. If you have yet to complete this survey, please take the time to thoughtfully and prayerfully complete the survey below. The responses will be one of the main important factors that help us extend a call to our next senior pastor.

Pastoral Search Committee Nominations

On Sunday January 13th, 2019 the congregation will elect a Pastoral Search Committee to find our next senior pastor. Between today and January 6th, we need your help to nominate candidates to serve on the committee. Committee members will serve for about 9 – 18 months and help create a job description for the new senior pastor, identify and evaluate candidates, and craft the final job offer and call package.
 Please nominate up to seven Redeemer members who are:

  • Spiritually mature

  • Able to put the needs of the church ahead of their own

  • Willing to commit a significant amount of time to the process

  • Living out Redeemer values in all areas of life

  • Team players with an ability to lead when called upon

Before you nominate someone, please ask them first to make sure they are willing to serve. The Session will reach out to any member who receives nominations from at least three households to clarify the commitment and confirm their ability to serve.
