The teenage years are critical ones. These are the years just before they start living on their own and making decisions about whether to continue to follow Jesus. We at Redeemer want to help them commit to a lifelong pursuit of Christ.
Redeemer fosters a community of adults committed to knowing our junior high and high school students and integrating them into the life of the whole church. Our youth worship with the adults and serve alongside them. We want our students to see and experience adults following Jesus, so that as adults they too will continue to follow him.
In addition to including youth in every aspect of the Redeemer community, we have intentional, fun, and safe gatherings for our youth with their peers on a weekly basis.
Sunday small groups
Throughout the year, our youth students meet for fun and relationally-based small groups for jr. high girls, jr. high boys, high school girls, and high school boys. Each group led by our dedicated youth leaders focuses on studying the Bible and practical youth topics. In the summer months, our youth meet following the worship service from 11:20-12pm while enjoying a light brunch. During the school year, the youth meet at 9am and also enjoy a monthly breakfast during this time.
Throughout the year, junior high and high school students gather to socialize, play games, build healthy and meaningful relationships, study the scripture, and support one another in prayer.
