Youth Ministry
CULTURE & VALUES
We are committed to partnering with families as we foster a culture where our students are…
Fellow Members
Our students are active participants in our Sunday worship & the life of the church.
Formed Holistically
Our students are taught rich and historic Christ-shaped theology that integrates practically into all aspects and habits of life.
Friends Together
Our students are developing healthy and fun relationships with Christian peers, as well as being a hospitable community for their neighbors and classmates.
Free to Ask
Our students are encouraged to ask hard questions, express their doubt, and engage in conversations as they think critically and wisely about their faith and culture.
Five to One
Our students have intergenerational relationships that are integral to their faith. We desire for each student to know and be known by five adults. This is the 5:1 ratio.
PARTNERING WITH FAMILIES
Research shows that parents are the #1 influencers when it comes to the spirituality of our youth. While we believe that churches should have robust youth ministries, we also believe that means our pastors and our church need to be supporting parents and equipping them to become the best parents that they can be for the health of their students' faith.
In an effort to partner with families, we offer the following:
1. Trainings, Classes, and Small Groups for parents.
2. Pastoral Meetings with Pastors Adam Feichtmann & Josh Hahne.
Contact Pastor Adam Feichtmann, contact@redeeemeroc.org for more information about our youth ministry at Redeemer.
LARGE GROUPS
Our Large Groups will be more teaching focus. For a majority of our Large Groups, Pastor Adam will be teaching through the Westminster Confession of Faith and using his notes from the class he taught in spring 2024.
SMALL GROUPS
Starting on September 14 we are going to start our fall small groups after church. They will begin by meeting at The Bluffs Shopping Center for lunch and then walk over to Arroyo Park. Drop off around 11:45am and pick up at 1:30pm. Ellie Holt and Ellie Monwai will be leading our middle school and high school girls groups. Peyton Ogle, Alex Brouwer, and Ben Dehaan (new Biola student), will be leading our middle school and high school boys groups. Lunch will be covered by Redeemer.
Since our Large Group will be more theological and teaching based, our small groups will have a heavier emphasis on practical theology discussion. Our groups will be going through a RYM study guide called Prayer 101.

High School RYM Summer Conference: July 27 - 31, 2026
RYM has officially confirmed their 2026 dates for their Calfornia conference at Pepperdine University in Malibu. This conference will be for rising 9th graders of the 2026-2027 school year through 12th graders who graduate in June 2026.
Middle School Summer Camp: TBD
Running our own camp at Catalina has been great for the past three years, and we might do it again in summer 2026. However, we are also considering sending our middle schoolers to Forest Home. We will keep you posted when a decision is made and dates are set.
FALL CAMPOUT REGISTRATION NOW OPEN
Your middle school and high school students are invited to join Redeemer's Youth Ministry for our Annual Fall Campout! They will build relationships with one another as they camp under the stars, study the Bible, roast s’mores around the bonfire, enjoy the beach, play games, and hang out with friends. This experience will not only be memorable and impactful, but it will also be well supervised and safe with quality adult leaders. (Middle school and high schoolers will be sleeping separately in their own tents.)
Dates: Friday September 26th (5pm) - Sunday September 28th (9:30am)
Location: San Mateo Campout at San Onofre State Beach
