Youth Ministry
CULTURE & VALUES
We are committed to partnering with families as we foster a culture where our students are…
Fellow Members
Our students are active participants in our Sunday worship & the life of the church.
Formed Holistically
Our students are taught rich and historic Christ-shaped theology that integrates practically into all aspects and habits of life.
Friends Together
Our students are developing healthy and fun relationships with Christian peers, as well as being a hospitable community for their neighbors and classmates.
Free to Ask
Our students are encouraged to ask hard questions, express their doubt, and engage in conversations as they think critically and wisely about their faith and culture.
Five to One
Our students have intergenerational relationships that are integral to their faith. We desire for each student to know and be known by five adults. This is the 5:1 ratio.
PARTNERING WITH FAMILIES
Research shows that parents are the #1 influencers when it comes to the spirituality of our youth. While we believe that churches should have robust youth ministries, we also believe that means our pastors and our church need to be supporting parents and equipping them to become the best parents that they can be for the health of their students' faith.
In an effort to partner with families, we offer the following:
1. Trainings, Classes, and Small Groups for parents.
2. Pastoral Meetings with Pastors Adam Feichtmann & Josh Hahne.
Contact Pastor Adam Feichtmann, contact@redeeemeroc.org for more information about our youth ministry at Redeemer.

After the Blessing Roundtables: October 18th, November 15th, December 20th
Starting in October on the 3rd Sundays of October, November and December, we are going to test a new and short gathering for our students. Directly after church (after the Blessing) for only 15 minutes, our students are going to sit at roundtables in the annex (behind the glass wall, beyond the sound table), and reflect together on the scripture reading, sermon, and service from that morning. Our youth leaders, pastors, and elders will take turns facilitating the brief discussions. The main goal is to help our students reflect more deeply on what they just read, heard, and experienced so they can better apply it to their lives.

RYM 2027 & 2028 DATES & Middle School Summer Camp
RYM has confirmed that their High School Summer Conference will be July 26 - 30, 2027. Please mark your calendars accordingly.
They have also flagged to us that Pepperdine University will be hosting Olympic teams in July 2028, thus, the 2028 dates will be earlier in the summer, probably June 12-16, 2028. When those dates become official, we will let you know…for those that plan 2 years out ;)
Regarding middle school summer camp in 2027, we are currently reviewing our experience at Forest Home and will decide in the next month if we will continue with that summer camp or switch to another option. Stay tuned.
