We’re excited to announce that we’ll be returning to indoor worship services on Sunday June 6th!
Orange County’s COVID cases and hospitalizations have continued to stay low since entering the California’s Orange Tier on March 31st. By mid-April, over two million vaccinations have already been administered in Orange County and all residents are now allowed to be vaccinated. Schools have reopened and the entire state of California is preparing to fully reopen by mid-June, including eliminating the Tier System. Thankfully, California currently has the lowest COVID case rates in the country. Be of good cheer! We’re slowly moving into a post-quarantine world.
Temple Bat Yahm has approved our re-entry to indoor worship in their sanctuary, and we are working to ensure we have a safe and smooth transition. Details are still subject to change per CDC or state guidelines but we anticipate the following:
° Masks are not necessary for those who have been vaccinated.
° Masks are encouraged for those who have not been fully vaccinated. Of course, anyone who wants to take this safety measure, is welcome to do so.
° Social distancing will be available. We will open the wall between the sanctuary and ballroom, so that there is ample space.
° We will continue to practice safety measures with food service and will broadcast the service online.
It has been a wonderful and memorable season to worship the Lord outdoors over these past nine months, even something that many of us will miss. As we transition back to worship indoors, please pray for our church, Orange County, and our country during this hopeful season.
