We are excited to announce that this Sunday, April 10th we will have a Children's Palm Processional during our Palm Sunday Worship Service! Children in elementary school and younger are encouraged to take part in the fun of waving palm branches as they process in a loop prior to our Gospel reading and the sermon.
Here are the details that you need to know if you want your kids to participate:
During the announcements in the service, our children will be instructed to head back to the Kidcheck table area where they will pick up their palm branches which they made in Sermon Time lessons the Sunday before (4/3). After the Old Testament & Epistle readings, and prior to our Gospel reading, our children will process into the sanctuary to the front, during the song "Hosanna, Loud Hosanna" and out to their Sermon Time classes.
On Palm Sunday morning before service, we will have a craft table in the lobby to make palm branches for those who missed making them the previous week.
If you have real palm branches at your home please cut and bring them to church. Our kids can wave both real and crafted palm branches
Our youth are encouraged to come early and help our children with the crafts.
Please contact Nem Malabuyo, our Children's Ministry Director, if you have any questions.
