We desire to be a church who actively supports and connects with UCI and other local college students (undergrad and graduate level). One way to do that is to have Redeemer members “adopt” a student and commit to showing hospitality to them once a month. The Redeemer individual/family could host the student for an informal home-cooked meal, buy them lunch after church, or have fun together over another activity that the individual/family and the student agree upon. The level of involvement is flexible and depends on the preferences of both the individual/family and the student. It would be ideal to host the same student for the full duration of their time in college to cultivate that relationship. If you are an interested host or student, please text Jean Alexander.
