We desire to be a church who actively supports and connects with UCI and other local college students (undergrad and graduate level). One way to do that is to have Redeemer members “adopt” a student and commit to showing hospitality to them once a month. The Redeemer individual/family could host the student for an informal home-cooked meal, buy them lunch after church, or have fun together over another activity that the individual/family and the student agree upon. The level of involvement is flexible and depends on the preferences of both the individual/family and the student. Our goal is to launch this initiative in the fall, but we would like to start collecting a list of members who might be interested in such an initiative.
