Churches need porches. They need to create places where they move beyond the insular walls of their sanctuaries out into culture and enjoy lemonade with their neighbors. In our post-Christian context, we cannot expect that our non-Christian neighbors will simply come to us. We need to learn how to intentionally move out on mission to reach our neighbors with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
You're invited to join Pastor Adam Feichtmann to think creatively about local mission in Orange County. We will read two articles from Tim Keller titled "Lemonade on the Porch" prior to attending the gathering as a jumping off point. There will be one in-person gathering and one online gathering. Please register for the gathering that best fits your schedule. And, if you are wondering, yes, we will be serving lemonade!
