The Newport Back Bay is one of California's last remaining estuaries and is in Redeemer's backyard. Whether kayaking on the bay, driving along back bay drive, hiking, or taking an educational tour the back bay offers enjoyment for everyone.
The Newport Bay Conservatory’s main focus is preservation, education and research. Their vision is to engage and motivate the local community to work in harmony to enhance the natural beauty and allow for the public enjoyment of this priceless resource.
Volunteers are needed to get involved in restoration, education, outreach and research. Those with technical skills are needed to help with advocacy, watershed planning, community relations, fundraising and other projects. Not sure where your interest lies?
