Reformed University Fellowship at UCI would not exist without the support and prayers of Redeemer Presbyterian, so we're grateful to be able to give a little update on how things are going and how you all can be praying for us.
One of our main presuppositions in the ministry of Reformed University Fellowship is that God is always at work. And that continues to be the case this summer. Despite the pandemic conditions, RUF at UCI finished Spring quarter strong and, though it was bittersweet, we managed to see off our graduating class of Seniors. Hailey Kim has officially transitioned from being an intern into one of our permanent Campus Staff. For our Summer Zoom Bible study, we've chosen the book of Judges in order to fix our eyes on a faithful God in the midst of a chaotic world.
Looking ahead, Hailey and I have been brainstorming with our student leaders, thinking through plans for the Fall. RUF will be happening, but consistent with University policy, we will likely be doing a hybrid-style ministry with a blend of online and very safe, social-distanced in-person activities. We are excited about the possibilities!
With that in mind please pray for a few key things.
1. Pray that we are able to continue supporting our students during these distanced times.
2. Pray that God gives us wisdom and discernment about how to proceed this Fall.
3. Pray that God would prepare us to connect with new students this Fall, who will need a fellowship.
